An Autumn Maternity Family Session

My most recent portrait session was for a beautiful growing family of three who will soon be welcoming their fourth member and are over the moon with excitement!

The Romeros', a young, fun-loving family are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a second baby boy which will make their current adorable toddler a big brother.  Wearing a combination of deep cobalt blues - apropos for a baby boy - and set against the lovely contrast of the yellow and oranges of the Fall Foliage, I set out to capture those candid moments shared among this beautiful family during this special time in their lives. . Please enjoy some of my favorite takes from this shoot. 

There is no doubt this gorgeous little boy can't wait to be a big brother!

Congratulations to the Romero family! It was such a pleasure for me to document these lovely family memories. Cannot wait to meet your newest addition!

A Mid-Summer Night Dream Maternity Session.

One of my most  recent portrait session was on one of those perfect Summer evenings when all of the elements come together and create the ideal setting. That precise moment when the sun is setting after a long day's work of illuminating and warming our planet,  as it descends into the horizon and emits those coveted golden rays of light every photographer aims for. That delicate dance of soft light, mysterious shadows and overall luminosity. Idyllic. Mid-Summer Night Dreamesque.



The maternity session for this evening was for repeat clients, currently a family of three, who will soon become four adding a little prince for their little princess. The miracle of birth.

A Fall Family Maternity Session

My most recent portrait session was for a beautiful growing family of three who will soon be four...

The Figueroa-Rodriguez family are repeat clients and friends of mine who are excitedly awaiting the arrival of their new baby boy and making their current adorable toddler a big brother!

As soon as the glowing momma-to-be contacted me and we agreed on an October day to shoot, I began brainstorming the setting and subtle feel of Fall I wanted to portray in these captures. I decided in shooting both indoors and outdoors to convey the intimacy and excitement of this most precious moments in their lives. I believe the following images evoke just that. Enjoy!

An Elegant Maternity (Family) Shoot

My most recent photography shoot was for a two-time return client,(you can see one of her previous shoots here) and beloved friend, Rocio. Ms. Rocio was  pleasantly surprised earlier this year with the amazing news that she was expecting!!!! She is over the moon with happiness and those that love and know her are overjoyed for her!!! She will now have the complete package, a Baby Boy for her "Baby Girl" (who is now 17, but will always be her baby in her eyes...)

As soon as Rocio asked me to take her Maternity Shoot I began conceptualizing the feel I wanted to capture. I wanted to emit the ethereal purity that surrounds a woman with child. The soft elegance. However, I also wanted to embrace her gorgeous glow with some glamorous touches to make her feel feminine, beautiful and statuesque. Along with her husband and daughter these captures will be memories that her baby boy will be able to look back on when he's born and see himself in her womb.
